Place2Book Scanner
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Place2Book Scanner for mobile devices, that was created by Place2Book ApS.
Userdata
Username and password are sent to Place2Book's backend via an encrypted connection and never stored on he device itself. Whenever a ticket is scanned, that info is submitted to the backend and never stored on the device.
We use Google Analytics to track anonymous aggregated data about how the app is used.
Camera permit
The app uses the camera to scan barcodes. The image is never saved or sent to Place2Book backend, as decoding of the barcode is done within the app.
WIFI / Network permit
To handle offline usage, we need to gain access to the current network status for the device. We never modify the existing network setup. The app uses the internet connection to transmit data encrypted between the app and the backend.
Flashlight permit
In case of low light situations, the app can turn on the flashlight automatically, when scanning barcodes with the builtin camera.
